Safety measures, online and offline, ensure moderate use, and prohibit sales of vapor products to persons under 21 years old.

Persons under 21 years old should never use nicotine in any form, considering the dangers and health risks.

Bidi Vapor has been rolling out measures to reverse the trend of underage vape use, developing innovative technologies for its products.

On its website and through both distributors and retailers, Bidi Vapor imposes comprehensive age-verification procedures to ensure that the Bidi Stick does not fall into the hands of underage youth.

Stringent Access Controls Online

Bidi Vapor utilizes advanced systems and multi-step technologies on its e-commerce platform. These efforts ensure that consumers are of legal age and to prevent underage access to its products. Here are our enhanced measures:

    • Requesting Birth Date Upon Website Entry
When customers visit the Bidi Vapor website, they need to key in their birthdate in the pop-up box to confirm their age.
    • Verification Across Multiple Databases
All information is then crossed-referenced with multiple public records through a third-party company, AgeChecker.Net. This Bidi Vapor partner will verify the age and identity of customers through cross-checking the public database. The results will help determine whether the purchaser is of legal age and if the transaction should be processed.
    • Confirmation Using Valid Identification Cards
If Bidi Vapor is unable to verify the age and identity of the new user with this information, the company asks the new user to upload a photo of the front and back of their government-issued ID. On top of verifying the picture, the system checks for common shortcomings in fake IDs.

  • Limitation on Quantity Purchase
Bidi Vapor complies with government regulatory requirements for quantity limits on sales of Electronic Nicotine Delivery Systems (ENDS) products. The limit ensures moderate use of the product. There is a 30-stick limit on the purchase of Bidi™ Stick in a rolling month, and a purchase order limit of four Bidi Sticks per transaction per day inclusive of coupon code, return, and exchange.

Stringent Access Controls at Retail Shops

To further curb the underage purchase of the Bidi Stick, Bidi Vapor is working with its retailers on these requirements:

  • Requiring retailers to check the government-issued ID of each customer to verify age and ID validity (i.e., the ID has not expired).
  • Rejecting any transaction if the customer cannot provide a valid ID.

Bidi Vapor will not allow any sale transactions if the ID that the customer provides is fake, or if it shows that the customer is younger than 21 years old. Moreover, no order should take place if the customer purchase exceeds the order limits per month or transaction.

Every vaping company should uphold the law in restricting underage youth from accessing vape products. While individuals aged 21 years old and above are allowed by law to have access to vape products, they need to keep in mind that vaping in moderation is also vital.
